Description
For the interior architecture design project, including furniture and graphics for the Hotel Penta (1971), Daciano da Costa draws the signage of the interior of the Hotel. In addition to its current function of identifying spaces and corridors, it was also designed as a decorative complement.
The floor identification panels, placed in the lobby of the elevators, were materialized as tapestries of vibrant colour, fragmented and dynamic plastic compositions.
As part of the project to enhance the work of Daciano da Costa, the Atelier selected the graphic studies for the reissue of the two collections of tapestries, Penta Studies and Penta Fragments.
